Potaé is The Kumpir Company, the first and only dedicated kumpir chain in the Netherlands. A kumpir is a Turkish-style XXL oven-baked potato that guests top to taste. Our stores are in Amsterdam and Almere, but for events and parties we travel nationwide. That includes Dordrecht.
What is kumpir catering for an event or party?
Kumpir catering is a fresh station or food truck where guests build their own baked potato. We bring the oven, the potatoes and all the toppings, you bring the party.
It is interactive and warm. The potato comes out of the oven, gets stirred creamy and is finished with vegetables, sauces and a filling of choice. That gives a party more than a static buffet or a grazing board: guests choose for themselves and linger at the station.
Why kumpir catering works at a Dordrecht party
Dordrecht is the oldest city of Holland, an island city on the rivers with an atmospheric historic harbour and centre. Whether you host a party in a warehouse by the water, a garden in the Drechtsteden or a venue in the centre, you want catering that suits the occasion and is not the same at every party.
A kumpir bar or food truck gives you that. We come to your location, run independently and serve both an intimate birthday and a large company party. Fresh, warm potatoes made to order are a welcome alternative to the standard hot and cold buffet.
Everyone eats: from vegan to chicken
The base of the kumpir is vegetarian and often easy to make vegan. At a party with a mixed crowd that is ideal, because everyone finds something to taste without ordering separate dishes.
- Vegan options that genuinely taste good
- Vegetarian as a generous standard
- Chicken for the hearty eater
- Tuna as a fresh classic
So no one is left out, from the vegan guest to the one who wants something savoury.

Frequently asked questions about event catering in Dordrecht
Does Potaé come to Dordrecht for a party or event?
Yes. Our stores are in Amsterdam and Almere, but for catering we travel nationwide, including Dordrecht and the whole Drechtsteden region. Share the address in your request.
What does event and party catering with a kumpir bar cost?
The price depends on the number of guests, the menu, the duration and the location. We work with a custom quote so you pay exactly for what suits your party. Request a no-obligation proposal.
Do you offer a kumpir bar or a food truck?
Both are possible. A bar or station works well indoors, a food truck is ideal outdoors or on a site. Tell us your location and occasion and we advise the best setup.
Is there a vegan and vegetarian option?
Always. The kumpir is naturally vegetarian and easy to make vegan, and we also offer chicken and tuna. That way all your guests eat, whatever the dietary needs.
How far in advance should I book?
For parties and busy periods, the earlier the better. Get in touch in good time through our quote request and we will lock in your date.
