Event and party catering in Zwolle from Potaé revolves around a fresh kumpir bar at your celebration: XXL oven-baked potatoes, topped on the spot, with options for vegan, vegetarian, chicken and tuna. We do not have a store in Zwolle, but we are glad to travel to you, for a birthday, anniversary, wedding or company party in the city or region.
Want to throw a party your guests remember? Yet another platter of snacks or a grazing board is safe, but rarely special. A kumpir bar is. Potaé is the first and only dedicated kumpir chain in the Netherlands, and we bring warm, fresh and memorable catering to your event in Zwolle.
What is event and party catering with a kumpir bar?
A kumpir bar is a complete catering set-up built around the Turkish-style XXL baked potato. The potato comes hot from the oven, is mixed with butter and cheese, then topped with whatever your guests choose. From grilled vegetables and beans to falafel, chicken or tuna.
For a party in Zwolle, this means your guests build their own meal. It is sociable, interactive and sparks good conversation at the bar. On top of that, everyone eats fresh and warm. Browse our full catering range for an impression.
Why a kumpir bar works at parties in Zwolle
Zwolle is a welcoming Hanseatic city with a rich celebration culture. The star-shaped centre around the Sassenpoort gate, the setting on the IJssel river and its status as a regional hub make Zwolle a great place for events of every size.
A kumpir bar fits that down-to-earth, warm atmosphere. It is not complicated catering, just good fresh food that makes sense. Whether you host a garden party at home, hire a venue in the centre or organise a company party on a park such as Voorst or Hessenpoort, we travel to Zwolle and set up the kumpir bar.
Something for every diet
Potaé is vegetarian at heart, which makes our party catering inclusive. The kumpir is plant-based at its core, so everyone at your party can join in.
- Vegan: fully plant-based toppings.
- Vegetarian: with cheese, egg and plenty of vegetables.
- Chicken: for those who want something hearty.
- Tuna: fresh and protein-rich.
Because each guest builds their own plate, you need not worry about allergies or preferences. Everyone finds something they like. See our menu for all the options.
